Summer Smiles: Providing camp experiences for kids supported by FACS
Camp provides a great opportunity for kids to learn new things, about the world and about themselves. More importantly, it’s a chance for them to have fun.
The incredible kids we support at FACS Niagara have experienced more challenges than typical people their age, yet they are resilient, hopeful, and at the end of the day – just normal kids who want what every kid wants – a fun-filled summer.
They want to soak up the sun playing tag, sing songs around a campfire, and develop friendships that last a lifetime. They want to pursue their passions for dance, nature, soccer, and so much more. They crave a place where they can be themselves, spending time with other kids who have the same interests.
In 2025, support from our community funded over 700 weeks of day and overnight camp for 380 kids supported by FACS.
$250 sends one child to a weeklong day camp in Niagara. $1,000 allows one child to attend a weeklong overnight camp. FACS Niagara supports over 1,000 children every year. Donate today to give more kids this essential childhood experience.
Mountainview LemonAID Day for FACS Niagara
Are you a young do-gooder? Mountainview LemonAID Day invites you to join us on Saturday, June 13, 2026 to host a lemonade stand and raise money to help give kids in your community a summer to remember!
Every June, 100 families and businesses across Niagara participate in Mountainview LemonAID Day with the common goal of sending kids served by FACS Niagara to summer camp. In 2025, the event raised over $92,000.
Thanks to our sponsors, everything is provided to run a successful lemonade stand! Registration opens in April.
