Why do we need your help?
FACS Niagara supports over 430 children, teens, and young adults in foster care every year, and supports over 600 families on an ongoing basis in an effort to keep kids safe and families together.
The reality is that youth who have spent time in care are at higher risk of experiencing homelessness, unemployment, involvement with the criminal justice system, low educational attainment, and chronic mental illness once they leave care.
However, these challenges don’t define their future. Youth in the care of FACS Niagara are determined to create a new narrative for themselves and their families – one rooted in stability, safety, and security. They are resilient, compassionate, and capable individuals, ready to thrive with the right support.
